TAYLOR HOLDEN IS ON A MISSION TO PROVE THAT ROCK & ROLL IS ALIVE AND WELL.

Exploring the essence of Rock-and-Roll, Holden’s music is explosive and tender all at once. Sonically reminiscent of 90's alt-Rock and 00's Indie Pop-Rock, she finds touchstones in bands like Bikini Kill, Veruca Salt, and Metric. Lyrically, Holden explores womanhood through a series of soft and tender narratives- An act of resistance as a femme musician working in a genre with a history of celebrating misogyny.

Holden’s career began at 17 when she’d sneak into any bar where she could play a show. She spent years developing as a front woman- Creating a captivating rock and roll show that harnesses the explosive and chaotic energy of classic rock, while holding space for the softer stories within each song.

Holden (Now 28) is embarking on her debut, full-length LP titled “Cherry Bomb.” The album (entirely self-written and produced) will be released slowly throughout 2024/2025, accompanied by a series of live performances.

Gearing up for her debut LP, Holden is bringing her live rock & roll show to stages across Canada and beyond- Proving that rock and roll is not only alive, but thriving.
